Passed away on Sunday, 27th April 2025, aged 30 years—doing what he loved most.

Much loved son of Rodney and Maree Evans.

Beloved brother of Renae, Alex, Jordan, and Ashlee.

Devoted life partner to Michaela Hurt and proud dad-to-be of baby “Freddy.”

Cherished uncle of Myah, Olivia, Archie, and Hurley.

Adored step-son, son-in-law, grandson, nephew, cousin, friend, mentor, and inspiration to many as evidenced by the incredible outpouring of global tributes in his honour.

Joel will be remembered for his infectious smile, kind heart, and never-give-up attitude.

He will be deeply missed and forever loved by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Family, friends, and all those whose lives were touched by Joel are warmly invited to attend a Celebration of His Life to be held at Kingaroy Town Hall on Wednesday, 14th May 2025 at 1:00 PM, followed by a wake in the supper room.

A private, invite-only burial will take place the following day for Joel’s nearest and dearest.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Joel’s GoFundMe to support his fiancée Michaela in raising their son, Freddy.
