DEAN, Vicki Ailsa

A spirit of the World, passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday 22nd March 2022

Aged 66 years

Beloved eldest daughter of Ailsa and Graham Dean. Beloved sister to Brett and Dave, Karen and Errol and their families.

Fly lone bird, the day is done. Rest your wings beneath the sun.

Your song is sung, breath now spent, still echoing where once you went.

It’s hard to hear the song you alone sing, not thinking anyone else was listening.

But we heard you there, we saw you near, not thinking that you’d disappear.

One last breath on the wind, one last song you alone sing. Into the dark night, amongst the stars, did you feel us beneath your wing?

So many of us heard your song, even if we were unable to sing along.

But know there are many, some from days long past who will forever carry your tune in their hearts.

So lone bird, we saw you there, know we treasured the wisdom, the knowledge, the love you shared.

And though you have flown far from our hands, we will forever hear your song echo across these lands.

In the trees, in the moon, high on the wind, your song lone bird, we will continue to sing.

A Private Cremation will take place as per Vicki’s wishes.
